Radiolab just did a fascinating podcast on very new research in Alzheimer's disease. By using gamma rays, in flickering light, scientists have shown that it can aid in memory retrieval in rats with Alzheimer's. It's extremely fascinating research coming out of MIT, and the interview is full of information that will blow your mind, and make you think about Christmas lights a little differently this season... give it a listen here:
