Aging Skin Model
This model showcases the aging process. It was designed to give patients a greater understanding of how and why their hair thins and turns grey. By showing both normal anatomy and aging anatomy (on opposite sides of the model) a patient can easily understand how their skin and hair age, and what goes on beneath the surface. Sometimes showing just the affected state of the anatomy is not enough- the patient also needs to understand normal anatomy and be able to make comparisons.
